Testing the product without any automated tool to identify errors or unexpected behavior is manual testing.
Stages of manual testing
Unit testing – code is tested.
Integration testing – modules are first tested individually, following which they are integrated by order and tested to check the functionality.
System testing – the entire system is tested from all the dimensions for all purposes and platforms. This is to check if the system application is as per the overall requirements and specifications when integrated and used as a final product.
User acceptance testing – to test user-friendliness. System is checked to find if a new user is easily able to understand the application and use it.
